Features and advantages:
1, 692 epoxy resin active diluent named epoxy propane benzyl ether. Glycidyl ether type epoxy active diluent is prepared by the reaction of benzyl alcohol and epichlorohydrin under the action of catalyst to etherate, and then by the closed-loop epoxidation of sodium hydroxide.
2, 692 epoxy active dilution gap has the characteristics of low viscosity, low toxicity, very small volatility (boiling point 257ºC), almost no smell. It is the ideal alternative to the common 501(660) to improve working conditions. It is especially suitable for use in the environment with poor ventilation conditions such as sealed cabin. As an epoxy resin thinner, the general dosage is 10-15 times the weight of the resin up to 30%.
3, 692 active diluent can improve the toughness of the cured material without reducing the heat resistance. Because 692 active diluent contains epoxy group and can react with curing agent, the amount of curing agent should be increased accordingly.
