Pilot Bore Sprockets are used in industrial machinery, as well as vehicles that use drive chains like bicycles and motorcycles. The term sprocket usually applies to a wheel driven by a chain or it might equally refer to the teeth or cogs present in a mechanical wheel.
Pilot Bore Sprockets, sometimes known as "Rough Stock Bore Sprockets", are supplied as a standard with a plain boss, an unusually cylindrical projection that provides a contact surface around a hole. This type of sprocket is machined to fit on a shaft.
Depending on the type of application, there are three major types of Pilot Bore Sprockets available at MIGHTY:

The term "simplex" refers to single strand chains. Thus, choosing between simplex, duplex, and triplex Pilot Bore Sprockets is easily determinable by the number of chain rows.

5. Surface treatments such as high-frequency quenching and hardened teeth can be 40-50 HRC.
6. The special rubber can be fixed on the teeth bottom to reduce the noise and wear.
