Description: Roselle red color is a new edible natural color made from the mature calyxes of Hibiscus sabdariffa L. Roselle red color is a kind of the anthocyanin pigment. It is usually the dark red liquid, the red purple paste or powder, easily soluble in water,ethyl alcohol and glycerol.

Feature: Roselle red color is a a red colorant for natural edible pigment. It is red under acidic conditions and it has good sensitivity to light and heat, but it is not stable when meeting the oxygen and mental ions. It also can be degraded by ascorbic acid and sulfur dioxide.

Application: Roselle red color can be used for those food that are slight acidic and do not need high temperature heating, such as cold drink, jelly, jam, syrup, powder beverage, etc.
