Florfenicol is a synthetic monofluorine derivative of sulfoxamycin. It is a white or off-white crystalline powder and odorless. The molecular formula is C12H14Cl2FNO4S.Slightly soluble in water,slightly soluble in glacial acetic acid,can be sloved in ethanol.Is in the late 1980s successfully developed a new veterinary special chloramphenicol broad-spectrum antimicrobial drugs.A commonly used veterinary antibiotic, is currently indicated for the treatment of bovine respiratory disease, Florfenicol can induce early embryonic death in eggs, with an LC50 of 1.07 μg/g.


1. Livestock: It is used for the prevention and treatment of asthma, infectious pleuropneumonia, atrophic rhinitis, swine pneumonia, streptococcal disease and other causes of dyspnea, body temperature rise, coughing, choking, and decreased feed intake. Weight loss has a very strong curative effect, and it is effective against E. coli and other piglets causing yellow and white scour, enteritis, blood dysentery, and edema.
2. Poultry: used to prevent and treat poultry caused by E. coli, Salmonella, Pasteurella, etc. cholera, chick pullorum, diarrhea, refractory diarrhea, yellow-white-green stool, watery stool, diarrhea, intestinal mucosal spots or Chronic respiratory disease, infectious rhinitis caused by diffuse hemorrhage, umbilitis, heart, liver, bacteria, mycoplasma, etc., air sac opacity, cough, tracheal squeaking, dyspnea, etc.
3. It has obvious effects on infectious serositis, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, etc. of ducks.
4. Treat bacterial fish diseases, orally.
