COMPOSITION:
Each gram contains
Oxytetracycline HCL....200mg
Excipient q.s.........…1gm.
INDICATIONS:
NEWOXY-20 W.S.P is a broad-spectrum antibiotic used in the treatment and prophylaxis of respiratory and gastrointestinal infections caused by bacteria in cattle, calves, sheep, goats, pigs and poultry.
DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION:
General:
For all species,5g of powder per 20kg b,wt. daily by oral route (through feed or water ) for 5-7days.
Poultry:
Prevention: 5g powder per 20litres of drinking water.
Treatment: 20g powder per 20litres of drinking water for poultry
Pigs: 5g powder per 5litres of drinking water or 5g of powder per 2 kg of feed.
Calves: 5g powder per 40kg b.wt twice daily for 5-7days.
PRECAUTION:
The medicated feed or water should be used within 24hours
WITHDRAWAL PERIODS:
Meat -5days, Milk- 1day, Eggs-1day.
STORAGE:
Store in a cool dry place, and protect from the direct sunlight.
