Food Grade RTV-2 Silicone For Resin Mold  is a two-part-kind liquid silicone, which belongs to food-grade
silicone, can be cured at room temperature, and mainly used for mold making of food-grade molds,
jewelry casting, tire molding, rapid prototyping, vacuum foaming, etc. It also suits any
condensation silicone's application for molding. With appropriate hardness, good tensile and tear
strength, and excellent resistance to deformation, finished silicone molds have not only a durable

Operation Methods

1. Stir part A (100g) and part B (100g) with 1:1 mixing ratio evenly. Then get the mixture for
vacuum-pumping. (If there is no vacuum machine, you can just pour the mixture slowly from the
corner so that less bubbles caused)
2. Enclose the products (the original model) with four plastic plates or wooden plates.
3. Clean your products and brush a layer of release agent (detergent or soap water) on your
products.
4. Pour the mixed silicone into the model frame.
5. After about 3 to 5 hours, when the silicone is cured, remove the original model, and then you
get a finished addition cured silicone mold.

4. How to remove the bubbles during my mould making?
--After mixing liquid silicone with curing agent, please put the material into vacuum machine to take off the bubbles. 

5. How to get good silicone mould to use longer time?
--The best way is:   #A, Please choose the right liquid silicone according to your products.   #B, Don't use any silicone oil in mold making, because it can make the silicone mould become too soft to use.   #C, Silicone mould can be used longer after the whole silicone mould fully cured, so it's better to wait 2 hours after mould finished. 

6. Why silicone rubber add curing agent after mixing a lot of bubbles? 
--This is normal physical phenomena. The liquid will produce a large number of bubbles in the mixing time, so, it must pass through the vacuum exhaust bubble treatment.
