Description
This high intelligent line is launched to satisfy the market and customer's requirement of flat glass processing, which innovated on the basis of our reliable glass double edging machines with connecting equipment for increasing automation and saving labor. This line is composed of following equipment:

This specialized line is designed for grinding 4 edges of flat glass with arris & Low-E deletion automatically, rough grinding, fine grinding and polishing have been finished at one processing travel.  After the glass is sent to the measuring table, the actual size of the current glass is detected by the measuring table, and the system optimizes the data according to the user's settings. The processed dimension data will be sent to 1 # and 2 # high-speed double edging machines respectively according to the actual direction.
After receiving the size, 1 # and 2 # bilateral machines adjust it according to the actual situation of the current machine, and then process the glass. 1 # and 2 # units independently process the size data received by themselves, and optimize the process according to the comparison of the data before and after receiving. If the current size is the same as that of the next glass in Unit 2, the next size does not need to wait for the current glass to finish grinding before feeding, but can be directly allowed to feed, so as to save grinding time. If the current size is inconsistent with the next glass size, the transfer table can be controlled to send the glass to the entrance of machine B for waiting.

  1. Work flow:
The glass is loaded onto measuring table HTT5025M, glass data will be automatically measured and set to PLC of double edger, then the glass will be transferred to 1st double edging machine HEM2450 for processing of 2 edges, the direction of glass flow will be changed at 90°degree when glass arrived transfer table HTT5025L and then glass will be transferring to 2nd double edger HEM2425 for processing of other 2 edges; then glass comes to the washing machine for washing and drying process; at the last glass will be unloaded. this double edging line is compatible with glass tempering furnace, glass screen printing, laminated glass line, and so on.
 
  1. Functions:
    1.  Connection control function: the system is equipped with the touch screen of 1 # machine as the master control station as the standard configuration, where the whole line can be started and stopped, including the basic control of 2 # machine, the transfer table control, and the measuring table control. The touch screen on Unit 2 can only control Unit 2.
    2.  User management: the system provides three levels of user groups. The password can be modified or users can be added/deleted at will.
    3.  Information monitoring: The system provides complete equipment information reflection. When the equipment has a fault or other protection alarm, in addition to displaying the fault information in the form of a riding lamp at the bottom of each operation page, the "information monitoring" page is also provided for users to view all alarm information, real-time status of PLC input and output points, production output status and other related information.
    4.  Edge grinding process optimization: it could only be used in the bulk order mode. When this function is enabled, the glass will accelerate when it is not in contact with the grinding wheel (when entering and leaving the machine) to save the grinding cycle time.
    5.  Feeding allowance recognition function: also known as secondary detection function, it is used to detect whether the glass sent exceeds the designed standard allowance in real time (different allowance and reference speed correspond to different thickness of glass). If the glass exceeds the allowance, it will be decelerated according to the proportion of excess allowance to ensure the safety of glass processing.
    6.  Real time energy saving function: the system has provided sleep function (default is 1 minute). When no glass enters after the sleep setting time, the system will stop all grinding wheels, water pumps, fans, etc. and enter the sleep state. When glass enters, it will be automatically awakened for operation. Real time energy saving is a further energy saving on this basis. The system will automatically detect the position of the glass. When the glass is not in the effective edging area (that is, the contact area between the glass and the grinding wheel), the system will slow down the grinding wheel motor to save power.
    7.  Interlocking/synchronization of washing machine: only applicable to 2 # machine. The function is to enable this function and connect the washer circuit correctly. When the washing machine stops running, the detection signal will be sent from the glass of unit 2 # to the outlet of unit 2 # 
    8.  Stop the transmission of Unit 2 immediately. To achieve the purpose of following the operation of the cleaning machine to protect the glass. The washing machine is the same as The step function is to synchronize the transmission speed of the washing machine with that of the 2 # double side mill through wired connection.
 
  1. Extended functions
    1.  Comparison system: The pairing system is added on the basis of the existing intelligent high-speed whole line. The system makes up for the inaccurate control of the grinding size of the current intelligent high-speed bilateral grinding. Your company will import the list of glass production dimensions into the pairing system via USB flash disk according to the agreed file structure and format (. csv file format). After the glass size is detected by the detection platform, the size list shall be paired according to the set conditions. The closest size shall be matched and sent to 1 # and 2 # edging machines. So that the size adjusted by the bilateral machine is the standard size in the list. When the detected glass size fails to match the appropriate size from the list, the system will automatically alarm for manual processing. The system provides the function of temporary order replenishment (20 notes) for temporary order insertion or damage replenishment during production. You can choose to only make up temporary orders or give priority to making up temporary orders. The system will prompt every time a list is completed, and clear the completed list file.
    2.  Split display system: The split display system is a further expanded function based on the pairing system. The purpose is to use the existing list data to display the size information of the glass that has been grinded on the screen, so as to facilitate the removal and separation of the glass. The display shall be placed at the outlet of the whole line (generally at the outlet of the washer). The system dynamically displays the glass size and frame number of the current glass on the display in the form of animation. The unloading worker can unload and put into the rack according to the information.
    3. The comparison system can open the data to the third-party manufacturer for free through negotiation, but it must be connected with the communication protocol related to our system protocol. The open data are mainly the size of the glass and the frame number of the glass, but the information not on the list cannot be provided.

MACHINE FEATURES
(1) Intelligent and efficient: The overall technology of the machine has been comprehensively upgraded. The new intelligent operating system can seamlessly connect with the ERP data. The glass size data can be collected through the automatic detection platform and compared with the ERP data to achieve rapid and automatic adjustment of the glass size. There is no need for manual input, which greatly improves the processing capacity of bulk orders. The current identity of the piece of glass can be displayed through the outbound split frame guidance system (optional), and the label printing system can be optional. The whole line is equipped with industrial Internet of Things system as standard, which can realize machine remote monitoring, remote assistance maintenance and remote system upgrade. The servo system is used to drive the high-precision gear rack mechanism for width adjustment. The adjustment accuracy is high. The opening and closing speed can reach 25m/min, and the glass processing speed can reach 20m/min at most. The production capacity is three times than that of the ordinary double edging machine. The glass does not stop during the edging process, high processing efficiency. It can be connected with the loading and unloading tables and washing machines to realize fully automatic production and reduce labor costs.
(2) Stable and safe: the machine is equipped with the thickness change function, which is used to automatically switch to different transmission speeds when grinding glass of different thickness. (The speed corresponding to different thicknesses needs to be preset) It is suitable for automatic machine operation. At the same time, it is also equipped with the grinding margin detection function. When the actual margin of the glass exceeds the design range (the glass has chips), the equipped automatic secondary detection will monitor in real time, and reduce the edging speed proportionally according to the margin size to ensure the safety of the glass mill.
(3) Automatic Servo compensation function of Diamond wheels: all diamond wheels and resin wheels use servo motors to control the grinding position of the grinding wheels, and automatically compensate the wear amount of the grinding wheels according to the total meters of glass processed. At the same time, the system will calculate the residual thickness of each grinding wheel in real time. After the grinding wheels are consumed, the system will friendly prompt the customer to replace the grinding wheels, improve the automation level of the machine, and avoid manual intervention and adjustment, Reduce the technical level of operators.
(4) Automatic distribution of glass grinding amount: This function is used to automatically switch each grinding wheel to different grinding positions when grinding glass of different thickness (the grinding amount corresponding to different thickness needs to be preset). The system will change the grinding position of each grinding wheel through the servo motor according to the thickness parameters of the current glass processing, and distribute the grinding amount of each grinding wheel in proportion, thereby changing the unilateral processing allowance of glass, This greatly improves the efficiency of machine adjustment due to changing the glass thickness, and realizes real automatic operation.
(5) Polishing Pneumatic automatic compensation function: all polishing grinding wheels adopt the pneumatic automatic compensation method to more accurately control the grinding wheel pressure and motor current to ensure the uniform and stable quality of glass polishing effect. At the same time, before the grinding wheels are used up, the system will prompt customers to pay attention to the grinding wheel status, prepare to replace the grinding wheels, avoid manual intervention and adjustment, and reduce the technical level of operators.
(6) One button start/stop of polishing: turn off or turn on the polishing function at any time, and only one function button is required. When the polishing function is disabled, the polishing grinding wheel motor will not be turned on and will automatically exit to ensure that it will not touch the glass. If the polishing function needs to be started after the coarse grinding motor has been started, the polishing function can be directly started, and the system will automatically start the polishing grinding wheel after waiting for a few seconds.
(7) Frequency conversion and energy saving: all grinding head motors are controlled by independent frequency conversion of permanent magnet synchronous grinding head motors. After the glass leaves the grinding wheel, it will automatically decelerate before the next piece of glass is detected, reducing the current. It also has a one minute sleep function. After this function is enabled, the system will automatically detect the position of the glass. If there is no glass in the equipment for more than one minute, the whole line will automatically stop running, so as to achieve energy-saving effect. The system wakes up automatically after detecting the glass. This function can save 50% electric energy compared with the conventional bilateral mill in the loose order mode. (8) Output report function: this function is mainly used to count the number of edging meters (single side) and pieces of glass with different thicknesses every day, the accumulated power on time, running time, meters, pieces, and energy consumption of the day. Form files shall be created for saving (settlement file name shall be monthly). Users can export files through USB flash disk for statistical settlement.

  1. Glass Double Edging Machine
    1. Intelligent detection: The whole machine is controlled by PLC, and the automatic detection platform detects the glass size to achieve automatic adjustment of any size without the need for Manual input. It is also equipped with an intelligent comparison system, which ensures the accuracy of glass processing dimensions, and can better communicate with the company systematic management docking.
    2. Main structure and process of the machine: The machine base and body are welded of 12mm thick square tubes, and the mounting surface is welded with thick steel plates and artificially aged to eliminate welding stress to prevent deformation during use. The whole process strictly follows the annealing, rough machining and finishing processes to ensure the accuracy and service life of the parts. The paint parts of the machine adopt pickling, phosphating and powder spraying processes, with stronger adhesion and rust resistance; The surface QPQ process is used for parts in contact with water, which not only improves the wear resistance of the parts, but also has stronger anti rust ability than the traditional hard chromium plating; All stainless steel sheet metals are made of 304 material.
