Description

1. DESCRIPTION
2715 sleeving is braided by fiberglass yarn and coated with polyvinyl chloride resin and produced with the process of thermo-plasticization.

3.APPLICATIONS
It can be used for wiring insulation and mechanical protection for electrical machinery, electric instruments and apparatus, wireless sets, TV sets and domestic electrical appliances such as electrical fans, washing machines etc.

4.MAIN TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

Resistance to soldering heat	Pass, (only for sleeving having nominal bore Dia. 1.0 - 5.0mm)
Bending after heating	No cracking or detachment of coating shall be visible after bending around mandrels after 96h at 130ºC
Bending at low temperature	No cracking or detachment of coating shall be visible after bending around mandrels while at -25ºC
Hydrolysis of coating	No running of the coating, adherence between sleeving and paper, between the pieces of sleeving nor any sign of discoloration of the paper.
Insulation resistance	at room temp. 1x10³MW after damp heat 1x10¹MW
Flame propagation	Method A, 60s max. in addition, the indicator flag on any one of the three test specimens shall not be burned nor shall flaming or glowing particles of flaming drops cotton.
