Complaint
Polyether polyol (polyether for short) is an organic polymer, which is prepared by the addition polymerization of initiator (compound containing active hydrogen group)in the presence of catalyst. The largest amount of polyether is produced by using glycerin (glycerol) as initiator and epoxide (generally PO and EO are used together) to produce various general polyether polyols by changing the feeding method (mixed or separate), dosage ratio, feeding sequence and other conditions of PO and EO.
Main purpose
1. Detergent or defoamer
L61, L64 and F68 are used to prepare synthetic detergent with low foam and high detergency;
L61 and L81 are used as defoamers in paper making or fermentation industries;
F68 is used as an anti foaming agent to prevent air from entering during the blood circulation of the artificial heart lung machine.
2. Excipients and emulsifiers
Polyether has low toxicity and is often used as drug excipient and emulsifier; It is often used in oral cavity, nasal spray, eye drops, ear drops and shampoo.
3. Wetting agent
Polyether is an effective wetting agent, which can be used in the acid bath of fabric dyeing, photographic development and electroplating. When F68 is used in the sugar factory, more sugar can be obtained due to the increased permeability of water.
4. Antistatic agent
Polyether is a useful antistatic agent, and L44 can provide lasting electrostatic protection for synthetic fibers.
5. Dispersant
Polyether is used as dispersant in emulsion paint.L62 and L64 can be used as pesticide emulsifiers, coolants and lubricants in metal cutting and grinding. Used as lubricant when vulcanizing rubber.
6. Demulsifier
L64 and F68 can effectively prevent the formation of hard scale in oil pipelines and be used for the recovery of secondary oil.
7. Papermaking additive
Polyether can be used as papermaking additive, and F68 can effectively improve the quality of coated paper; It is also used as a bleaching agent.
8. Preparation and application
Polyether polyol series products are mainly used to prepare rigid polyurethane foam plastics, which are widely used in refrigerators, freezers, refrigerated vehicles, heat shields, pipe insulation and other fields.
