Description

Alpha lipoic acid (or lipoic acid) is a very important nutrient at the heart of the antioxidant network, known as the "universal antioxidant". Unlike other antioxidants produced in the body with special effects, lipoic acid is neither strictly fat-soluble nor water-soluble, which makes it possible to promote the activity of other antioxidants in the body and a widely available alternative when antioxidants are insufficient.
