SBS (thermoplastic styrene butadiene rubber)
SBS is a block polymer prepared by anionic polymerization of butadiene styrene as monomer.
SBS has the excellent performance of rubber and plastic, with good elasticity, low temperature resistance, air permeability, temperature slip resistance, coloring, electrical insulation, processing does not need vulcanization, can be directly used in injection molding, molding, extrusion and other processing molding.
Application
SBS is widely used in various industry applications such as footwear and compounds, modification of asphalt and plastics, adhesives, and so on.
1, SBS molded products mainly used for shoe (sole) industry.
2, extruded products are mainly used hose and tape.
3, as a resin modifier, a small amount of SBS were polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), polystyrene (PS)
Blend can significantly improve the low temperature properties of the article, and impact strength.
4, SBS as a binder with the characteristics of a high content of solids, fast drying, low temperature.
5, SBS as asphalt and road construction bitumen modifiers can be significantly improved weathering resistance and load performance of asphalt.
