High Grade White Additives for Ceramic for Industrial Use

Many of the body reinforcing additives currently circulating on the market have many defects of high viscosity or thixotropy and easy to decay. These and other defects result in the reduction or failure of product performance. It not only makes the reinforcing effect not obvious, but also seriously affects the whiteness of the body, resulting in the body sandwich, black inside and other phenomena.

Csp-001, a new body reinforcing additives which is independently R&D by our company, can effectively correct the above-mentioned defects of the traditional body reinforcing additives. It can greatly improve the body strength, and it also has the effect of dispergation which saves a lot of raw materials and energy costs and increasingly favored by the majority of customers. 


1. It is easy to dissolve in water.
The aqueous solution has no viscosity but also has deflocculation. It has no effect on slurry flow rate when added to slurry, while it can reduce moisture content of slurry and save energy consumption of spray drying tower.

2. It has good solubility.
It can achieve the performance of product by ball milling together with slurry material or with external mixture.

3. It does not decay for a long time after added to slurry.
It will not failure or reduction of the performance after more than 24 hours. At the same time it can reduce the thixotropy of slurry and make the dumping and conveying more smoothly.

4. It can replace the clay which is more and more scarce at present.
It can reduce the adding proportion of the adobe and save the cost greatly. Each addition of 0.3% can reduce clay by 3%. The strength of green adobe body is equivalent to 0.3% lignin before drying, and greater than 0.3% lignin after drying.

5. It can increase the adobe body strength obviously after replacing plastic clay, and it will obviously improve the coloring capability of the whole adobe body and save the adding proportion of pigment.

6. It can improve the flatness of glaze after glazing.
Evenly penetration of water to the adobe body after glazing to reduce the glazing pinhole concave on glaze. (the solution can properly improve the temperature of dry adobe body, and reduce the moisture content of dry adobe body and improve kiln temperature).

7. The firing loss of plasticine is reduced due to the reduction of clay in adobe body, which can realize rapid firing in low temperature, improve rate of output of kiln and save fuel cost. Since the moisture in the clayey slurry material is less possible to be volatilized, it can reduce the quantity of water added to, and it can reduce the defects on adobe surface, even on glaze, and reduce the occurrence of pinhole-like appearance.

8. It is a good body strengthening agent in the production of ceramic brick.
It has a significant effect on the body strengthening and it can greatly reduce the cracking and damage of products in the production process.

9. The ball mill can save energy costs after adjustment of formulation due to less addition of clay.
t can reduce the moisture in the slurry material (reduce the moisture content of spraying powder). It can reduce the manufacturing cost of powder and reduce the expansion coefficient of adobe body.
