This is a medical device to be connected with a vacuum outlet and used for adjusting and measuring the vacuum level in suction process. It can't be used alone, but with the whole vacuum pipeline system, as well as the suction bottle.
Technical Data
Standard: the medical devices directive 93/42/EEC EN ISO 10079-3:2000 Adjusting Range: High 0-700 mbar Middle 0-400 mbar Low 0-160 mbar Vacuum pressure gauge accuracy: 2.5% Max flowrate: 40L/min (Air) Operating temperature: 20ºC±10ºC
Instruction for Use:
Make sure the device is undamaged and that the probe is adjustable with the gas outlet connection;
Make sure the regulator knob is left off;
Turn the device off, press the green switch;
To start the suction, push the red switch;
Turn the front knob and adjust the vacuum level by closing the patient suction system;
Connect the device to the wall vacuum outlet;
Connecting the suction controller's outlet to the collection bottle, using a min. 6mm diameter hose;
To start the suction, press the red switch knob;
For a temporary stop, use the red/green switch knob, vacuum level will get back to its initial level when suction is back on;
For a long stop, turn off the switch knob and the ON/OFF regulator's knob (suction system will be off)
Sterilization
The material of suction bottle is Polypropylene and is not autoclavable;
Safety Advice
Please read the instructions carefully before using the product;
Always make a working test prior to any use with patients
Avoid collision with the gauge as the pointer is fragile
Make sure the pointer is on "0" when the device is not used
Do not disassemble or repair the device when it is connected to the pipeline
It's only for medical use
Transportation, Storage and Warranty
Please avoid shaking when it is in the process of transportation
Between -10ºC and +40ºC (between 14-104ºF) in a dry and clean place
Warranty: 1 year
Common trouble-shooting
If the regulator is not working properly and the pointer is not pointing to "0", please change the regulator If the aspirator is not sealing tightly, the float ball might be dirty. Please shut off the regulator valve, pull out the quick connector and clean the float ball and rubber cover. If pressure is low, check the connector to see if there is leakage. Check the tube system.
Maintenance advice
Calibration of vacuum pressure gauge every 12 months
Add lubricant to quick switch every 3 months, silicone grease or medical Vaseline are recommended
