Introduction
This Aging Bath is used to determine the total sediment in residual fuel oil with a viscosity of less than 55 mm2/s at 100°C and distillate fuel oil blended with residual components. The maximum total sediment of residual fuel oil is 0.5% (m/m), and the maximum total sediment of distillate fuel oil blended with residual components is 0.40% (m/m)..
Method summary
Under the specified conditions, the residual fuel oil sample is aged for 24 hours at 100°C, and then the sample is filtered through a specified instrument at 100°C, and the total sediment on the filter paper is washed and dried with a solvent before weighing weight. The test should be repeated.
Main feature
1. This total sediment measuring instrument is equipped with special aging bath.
