Hongqi® Electric Contact Pressure Gauge With M20*1.5 Connection Thread Electric contact pressure gauges are pressure gauges that incorporate electrical contacts to provide an electrical signal when a certain pressure is reached. These gauges can be designed to provide either a normally open (N.O.) or normally closed (N.C.) contact output.
The electric contact pressure gauge consists of a sensing element that converts pressure into mechanical deflection. This deflection is then converted into an electrical signal by an electrical contact assembly.
This electrical signal can be used for a variety of purposes, including:
1. Controlling pumps, valves, compressors and other equipment based on pressure 2. Signaling an over-pressure or under-pressure condition for process control or safety monitoring 3. Triggering an alarm or shut-down in case of critical pressure conditions 4. Providing a remote pressure sensing capability for monitoring critical process conditions
In addition to their electrical contacts, these gauges can also incorporate other features such as digital displays, analog outputs, and local or remote electronics for monitoring and control.
