According to the different transmission medium, there are single mode optical splitter and multimode optical splitter. Multimode FBT splitter allow bi-directional coupling and can be used to either split or combine signals.
For example, when a fiber optic light beam is transmitted through the 1x2 20/80 OM1 FBT Splitter, it will be divided into 2 beams, one of which is 80% of the original source and another is 20%.
The FBT Splitters are suitable for Local Area Network, CATV system, fiber optic instrument and fiber sensor.
