Application:
Pyridoxal hydrochloride can be used to prepare pyridoxal phosphate (PLP). Pyridoxal phosphate is a white crystal, chemical name 2-methyl-3-hydroxy-4-formaldehyde-5-hydroxymethylpyridine phosphate ester, amino acid metabolism in amino acid transaminase and decarboxylase coenzyme, can promote glutamic acid decarboxylation, improve the generation of γ-aminobutyric acid, the latter is a nerve inhibitory transmitter. It is clinically used in the treatment of Parkinson's syndrome, promoting the aminotransferase transamination to increase the content of dopamine in the body. In addition, it can catalyze a variety of reactions, such as the conversion of α-amino acids to α-ketoacids and the decarboxyylation of α-amino acids.
