Ginkgo biloba is the dry leaf of Ginkgo biloba L.
Harvest in autumn when leaves are still green and dry in time. Generally cultivated artificially. The cultivation area extends from Liaoning in the north, to Guangdong in the south, from Zhejiang in the east, to Shaanxi and Gansu in the west, and to Sichuan, Guizhou, and Yunnan in the southwest.
It has the effects of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, dredging collaterals and relieving pain, astringing the lungs and relieving asthma, reducing turbidity and reducing fat.
For blood stasis blocking collaterals, chest obstruction and heartache, apoplexy hemiplegia, lung deficiency cough and asthma, hyperlipidemia.
