Dried Aluminum Hydroxide Gel is used for antacid and petic ulcer traetment.It is also used for reducing adverse effect by the combination of drugs like antipyretics,anti-rheumatic drug which cause a stomach disorder.
Also,Because of its neutral PH,it hardly affects to interaction with main drug nor deactivation of main drug.Fine particle grade called Fine Mesh is used for raw material of suspension drug.
It has no direct effect on the secretion of gastric acid. It neutralizes or buffers the existing gastric acid in the stomach, which can lead to the increase of PH value in the stomach, to alleviate the symptoms of excessive gastric acid.
The length of time effect in the stomach is related to the speed of gastric emptying.Taking medicine on an empty stomach can last for 20 ~ 30 minutes, and take medicine 1 ~ 2 hours after meal may be extended to 3 hours.
