Abosn is a professional custom plastic fabrication service and solution provider in China. Apart from High Density Polyethylene sheet and dual color sheet, we also offer a broad range of custom HDPE machined parts such as PE cutting board, wear blocks, wear strips, rods and tubes, etc. The HDPE parts are well suited to the food industry where low friction, wear and buffer strips on food production lines are important. HDPE Sheet is also important within the conveyor industry, water industry and fishing industry because of its very low moisture absorption and good chemical resistance. HDPE Sheet can be machined quite nicely on CNC or cutting machine to make different machined parts and provide a nice smooth surface.
1)abrasion resistance:
4 times higher than Nylon66 and PTFE, 6 times than stainless steel, the best of the plastic.
2)superior impact resistance:
2 times than Polycarbonate,5 times than ABS and can keep toughness very well even under liquid-nitrogen temperature (-196ºC)
3)self-lubricating property:
same as PTFE,friction coefficient is 0.07-0.11, 1/3-1/4 of steel.
4)impact energy absorption value is the highest in plastic and noise reduction is best.
5)excellent mechanical characteristics
anti-corrosive medium and organic medium. 6)non-sticking property: close to PTFE.
7)Non-poisonous property
widely used in food and medicine industry..
8)Low density
the smallest in plastic, 56% lower than PTFE,22% lower than Polycarbonate; 1/8 of steel etc.

We offer excellent sliding properties and abrasion/wear resistance due to its low coefficient of friction. HDPE Sheet is very tough and impact resistant, even at low temperatures, it is lightweight, easy to weld but difficult to bond. As a thermoplastic sheet manufacturer in China, Abosn can supply both single color and Dual-color HDPE sheets to suit customer demands. We own the most advanced Extrusion machines to extrude HDPE sheets with fixed material under certain pressure and temperature. HDPE Sheet has an almost waxy feel to it and is pretty good at being a low friction wear strip material and is used probably more than any other plastic as a wear strip on conveyors or production lines of huge companies. While it is difficult to bond effectively to anything, which means that HDPE Sheet will need to be physically or mechanically fixed in place using screws etc.
