Product Application:
PT-26 is a widely dispersible rheological agent, which is used in anticorrosive paints, Marine paints, industrial decorative paints, automotive primers and sealing materials, etc.
Usage:
PT-26 rheological additives are generally added directly to the grinding process of the product. Pt-26 is fully dispersed and activated under the shear force of grinding (or stirring) disperse pigments.
1. Usage: PT - 26 rheological additives in the paint consumption depends on the system needed to meet the requirements of the thickening effect, can control the rheology, pigment precipitation rate, the dosage of the typical range of 0.5 to 1.5% the amount of paint, general according to the dosage of the trial of conventional organic soil, and then optimization, under normal circumstances, the amount is lower than conventional organic clay.
2. General usage:
(1) adding resin/solvent;
(2) Add PT-26 additives and stir at high speed for 10-20 minutes;
(3) The solvent is 200 # solvent oil, white oil and other aliphatic hydrocarbon low polarity solvent, then add 30-40% organic soil amount of polar activator (such as 95% ethanol), high-speed stirring 10-20 minutes; If the solvent is xylene, xylene - butyl acetate and other medium - high polarity solvent system, can not add activator self-activation dispersion.
(4) adding wetting agent and pigment, grinding and dispersing (stirring, ball grinding, sand grinding) to the desired fineness;
(5) Add other materials in the formula and continue to disperse until uniform.
Packing and storage: the outer packing is in kraft paper bag, the inner packing is in double packing of polyethylene film bag, or in paper bag, the weight is usually 25±0.25kg, or in accordance with the requirements of users. When stored under dry conditions and the temperature is 0~30ºC, the quality validity period is 24 months.
