PT-28 easily dispersed self-activated organic ammonium modified smectite organic clay, suitable for low - medium polarity solvent system such as aliphatic hydrocarbon, aromatic hydrocarbon paint, ink rheological additives. In the aromatic solvent system without the addition of activator self-activation dispersion; In aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent (such as 200 # solvent oil, mineral white oil, rosin water, etc.) need to add activator to help disperse. The products are similar to Bentone-SD1, Claytone-AF, HY, Tixogel-MP100, EZ100.

Product Application:
PT-28 is mainly used for finishing paint and ink of aliphatic hydrocarbon and aromatic solvent with low to medium polarity system. It is not suitable for high polarity system such as oxygen solvent, and is not suitable for thickening agent of grease.
Usage:
1. Dosage: according to the thickening, anti-hanging, leveling and thixotropy requirements of different coatings and ink, the general dosage is 0.5-2.0%, the actual dosage can be determined by the test. In order to improve the strength and aging resistance of the film, the amount of organic clay can be appropriately increased under the condition of ensuring the construction, so that the dry film has nano polymer structure.
2. General usage: PT-28 does not need to be made into pre-gel, but can be added in any stage of coating and ink preparation, and the dispersion temperature should be greater than 20ºC. In order to improve the structural viscosity of the aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent system, 20-30% of the organic soil content can be added as activators to help disperse, including 95% ethanol, 95% methanol and propylene carbonate. Propylene carbonate is selected for activation of long oil alkyd resin with poor wetness.
Packing and storage: the outer packing is in kraft paper bag, the inner packing is in double packing of polyethylene film bag, or in paper bag, the weight is usually 25±0.25kg, or in accordance with the requirements of users. When stored under dry conditions and the temperature is 0~30ºC, the quality validity period is 24 months.
