Features and advantages:
PT-38 water-based thickener is a high purity montmorillonite clay processed by purification and nano modification. It is rice white or light gray powder, non-toxic and tasteless, soft in texture. It has excellent expansibility, colloid dispersion, suspension, thickening and thixotropy in water, and is an excellent anti-sedimentation agent, latex stabilizer and rheological agent in water system. The product also has good adsorbability, ion exchange, non - migration bond, has a wide range of applications in water dispersion system.

Usage:
Pre-gel method: quantitative PT-38 water-based thickener was weighed and slowly added to water at 25-35ºC under stirring conditions to avoid agglomerating. The speed was increased to 1500-2000rpm, and the montmorillonite was dispersed for 20-30min to fully expand and disperse and form homogeneous suspension, which was placed for 8-12h for reserve. Then the bentonite suspension is added to the required system according to the measurement under stirring conditions until fully dispersed and mixed. (General montmorillonite in water pre-dispersion concentration in 5-8%). Generally, the pre-gel method is better than the direct addition of dispersing method.
Packing and storage: the outer packing is in kraft paper bag, the inner packing is in double packing of polyethylene film bag, or in paper bag, the weight is usually 25±0.25kg, or in accordance with the requirements of users. When stored under dry and ventilated condition and the temperature is 0~30ºC, the quality validity period is 12 months.
