The drying cylinder is made of cast iron with covers at both ends. It is composed of the cylinder body and the cylinder heads at both ends. The outer diameter is mostly 1000 ~ 3000mm. During operation, the transported paper is dried and ironed by steam.
Cast iron dryer for paper machine is a key component for paper drying - class I pressure vessel. The number of cast iron dryers accounts for about 2 / 3 of the total number of pressure vessels in the paper industry. Generally, the materials for manufacturing drying cylinders are HT200 and HT250.

Component

All dryer cylinders,heads and journals are made of special cast iron.Separate journals are bolted onto the dryer heads.Dryer shells are ground on outside and turned on the inside.All dryer journals with steam or condensate pipes have insulation sleeves.The inner surfaces have grooves for the stationary siphons.The front side ends of all dryers contain manholes.

2.Dryer bars:The purpose of the dryer bars is to destroy the condensate ring formed in the drying cylinder under high-speed rotation and produce more turbulence

Shaft head repair

Wear of drying cylinder shaft head

Because the drying cylinder bears high temperature and pressure during operation, the shaft head of the drying cylinder is prone to wear, resulting in the failure of the equipment. The traditional repair method is to process the non-standard sleeve, which is prone to problems in the combination of non-standard sleeve and shaft diameter; Disassembly, machining and repair, long construction period and high cost.
The more mature rapid repair methods in China mainly apply polymer composite on-site rapid repair. Both the repair effect and maintenance cost are far better than traditional repair methods such as surfacing and brush plating. The maintenance time is fast, the process is simple and the cost is low.

Method of use

1.Mold processing:make standard split die (bilateral or unilateral positioning);
2.Surface treatment: degrease, polish and clean to ensure that the surface is clean, dry and solid;
3.Blending material: accurate proportion and uniform harmony;
4.Coating material: ensure bonding, filling and thickness;
5.Install the mold: brush the release agent, install and fix it to ensure that the excess material is extruded
6.Demoulding: after curing, dismantle the mold to clean up the excess materials. The materials can not be knocked, but can be removed by tools such as grinder and file to meet the installation requirements.
