How does it work?
In sleep, our muscles relax. This results in the base of the tongue getting closer to the soft palate and soft tissue at the back of the throat, narrowing the airway. In non-snorers, this causes no problems. In snorers, the airway becomes so restricted that breathing becomes noisy. The mouth guard fixes this problem by holding the snorer's jaw slightly forward. Because the tongue is attached to the lower jaw, this opens the airway and restores quiet breathing.
If you or your partner snores, you'll know what a serious and sometimes embarrassing problem snoring can be.
How to use?
The first step is to adjust the apnea anti snoring so it fits your mouth and jaw perfectly. This is easily done by softening the apnea anti snoring in hot water and then placing it in your mouth and moulding it to suit your teeth. After that, you put it in your mouth every night before you go to sleep, and take it out every morning. It will need occasional cleaning. We recommend using your normal toothbrush and toothpaste to keep it clean and fresh. Full instructions for fitting and use are included with every apnea anti snoring.
