Description
PAM - Anionic Polyacrylamide

Description
This product is a water- soluble high polymer. It's not soluble in most organic solvents, with good flocculating activity, and can reduce the friction resistance between liquid. It has two different forms, powder and emulsion.

Application Field
1. It can be used to treat industrial wastewater and mining wastewater.
2. It can also be used as an additive of the mud materials in oil-field, geological drilling and well boring.

Application Method
Powder
1. The product should be prepared for the water solution of 0.1% as concentration. It is better to use neutral and desalted water.
2. The product should be scattered evenly in the stirring water, and the dissolving can be accelerated by warming the water (below 60ºC).
3. The most economical dosage can be determined based on a preliminary test. The pH value of the water to be treated should be adjusted before the treatment.

Emulsion
When diluting the emulsion in water, it is supposed to stir quickly to make the polymer hydrogel in the emulsion sufficiently contact with water and rapidly disperse in water. The dissolution time is around 3-15 minutes.

Package and Storage

Powder
Package: The solid product can be packed in inner plastic bags, and further in polypropylene woven bags with each bag containing 25Kg.
Storage: Should be sealed and stored in a dry and cool place below 35ºC.

Emulsion
Package: 25L, 200L, 1000L plastic drum.
Storage: The storage temperature of the emulsion is perfectly between 0-35ºC. The general emulsion can be stored for 6 months. When the storage time is long, there will be a layer of oil deposited on the upper layer of the emulsion and it is normal. At this time, the oil phase should be returned to the emulsion by mechanical agitation, pump circulation, or nitrogen agitation. The performance of the emulsion will not be affected. The emulsion freezes at a lower temperature than water. The frozen emulsion can be used after it is melted, and its performance will not change significantly. However, it may be necessary to add some anti-phase surfactant to the water when it is diluted with water.
