Complaint
The Al203 content of semi-silicon brick is 15% ~ 30%, and the Si02 content is greater than 65%, which is a semi-acidic refractory product.
Semi-silica bricks are generally made of quartz sand containing fireclay, pyrofolite (Al203, 4Si02 • H20) and fireclay or kaolin mineral tailings as raw materials.
The Character:
The semi-silicon brick has a small expansion property, which is conducive to improving the integrity of masonry and weakening the erosion effect of slag on masonry. Another feature of it is that when the high-temperature slag is in contact with the surface of the brick, a layer of sleeve material with great viscosity is produced on the surface of the brick (the molten material with a high Si02 content formed by the action of the slag and the product, the thickness is 1 ~ 2mm), which blocks the porosity, prevents the slag from continuing to penetrate into the brick, forming a protective layer, thus improving the corrosion resistance of the brick.
The raw material storage of semi-silicon brick is large, the price is low, and it can replace the second and third grade clay brick, and the use range is wide. Because the semi-silicon brick has good resistance to acid slag, and has higher high-temperature structural strength and relatively stable volume.
