Vermiculites are a hydrous silicate mineral which is classified under phyllosilicate. The expansion of the mineral on heating is termed as exfoliated vermiculite. It is formed by weathering or hydrothermal alteration of Biotite or phlogopite.
1. Character: Non-toxic, flavorless, lightweight, corrosion resisting, netural PH 6.5-7.5 etc, Less Dust.
2. The main sizes vermiculite we have:
Raw Vermiculite: 0.3-1mm, 1-3mm, 2-4mm, 3-7mm
Silver Expanded Vermiculite: 10-40mesh, 20-40mesh, 1-3mm, 2-6mm, 4-8mm etc.
Golden Expanded Vermiculite: 10-40mesh, 20-40mesh, 40-60mesh, 1-3mm, 2-4mm, 3-6mm, 4-8mm ect.

4. Application:
It is an extremely unique product that is Sterile and pH Neutral, which allows its use in many applications including Vermiculite insulation & Vermiculite Horticulture.
Its' unique properties include the following special characteristics; Light in weight, Thermally Stable, High Water holding capacity, high cation exchange capacity,
non-reactive and odourless, highly absorbent.So that it widely used in Agricultural, Horticultural, Construction, Industrial..
Agricultural: Animal Feed, Anti-caking material, fertilizer carrier, soil conditioner
Horticultural: Hydroponics, Potting mixes, root cuttings, seed germination
Construction: fireproof borad, vermiculite board, loosfill insualtion
Industrial: Absorbent packing for hazardous goods, brake pads, brake shoes, insulation, hand warmer, body warmer
