Large Scale Cubic Meters Biogas Purification System for Sulfur Removal


Following the professional standard process of wet desulfurization, we can do customized design according to client's real situation. The process involves of gas desulfurization, regeneration, filtration and melting sulfur. During this course, both physical and chemical methods are used. Compared with dry desulfurization, it's more complex in techniques, and the requirements on material, equipment and manufacturing machine is also high. In result, this system price is higher, but it comes with byproduct sulfur, and does not cause second pollution, so the application is also wide, especially for large project with more than 5,000m³gas per day. 

With large desulfurization capacity up to 100,000 m^3/ day and less than 200ppm H2S output, it's commomly used as the preliminary desulfurization procedure for large biogas project. 

Working Procedures
The hydrogen sulfide is toxic to human body, corrosive to metal equipment and polluted to environment, so the sulfur must be removed from biogas. For wet desulfurization process, an alkaline liquid is used to absorb the H2S in gas, so that the gas is purified. After absorbing H2S, the alkaline liquid can be recycled by oxidation and regeneration with help of catalyst. The regenerated sulfur foam can be compressed and separated (or fused to sulfur) to made into sulfur.

1. Gas desulfurization Process: The methane will be pressurized to get into the Spray Desulfurization Tower from lower part, then reversely contacts with the sprayed alkaline liquid from top part to remove the H2S from the gas. Then it will enter into the lower part of Packed Tower through gas distributor, and then largely contacts with the alkaline liquid to get purified.

2. Regeneration: After gas desulfurization, the liquid will flow through a Rich-liquid Tank, then pressurized to be sprayed to Regeneration Tank and get mixed with air. With the help of catalyst, the HS- can be oxidized into elemental sulfur by 02 in the air. Meanwhile, the alkaline will be regenerated, and then recycle back into the Desulfurization Tower.

Advantages:
1) The system can run continuously with low cost, using PH value to keep the efficiency. 
2) The regenerated alkaline liquid is in good effects, and it can clean the tower instead of causing blocks.
3) The liquid is simple in composition, strong in chemical stability, and it can deal with large amount gas, convenient for both management and operation.
