GDL series adopts a kind of high sensitive angular velocity sensor that can be sensitive to the rotational speed of the earth, no directional calibration is required before use, and the downhole self-search north without accumulated error. The measurement result is true north azimuth, which can be used in magnetic mining areas and drill pipe.

Easy to use when measuring by wire rope or drilling tool. It has many advantages such as high precision, small volume, light weight, small zero drift, long life and easy maintenance.

2.  Measuring range of azimuth: 0~360°, error ≤ 4° (1° ≤ inclination ≤ 45°);
3.  Static drift ≤ 2°, drifting nonlinearity ≤ 1°;
4.  Measuring mode: point measurement (frequency: 1 time / 140 s);
5.  Service life of the gyro > 1800 h;
6.  Serial port R232 for data transmission;
7.  Probe outer diameter of downhole instrument: φ40mm
