Cylindrical roller thrust bearings are able to receive axial loads only, and have high axial rigidity which makes them well suited for heavy axial loads.
Specifically, the cylindrical roller thrust bearing can stand the unidirectional or bidirectional radial load and limit the unidirectional or bidirectional radial displacement. It has a much larger radial load support capability than the thrust ball bearing, possesses the large rigidity and occupies smaller radial space. It is mainly applied to the occasion of low rotation speed.
