TM-3200 Unsaturated Polyester Resin

1. Brief Introduction:
TM-3200 resin is an isobenzene-reactive flame-retardant unsaturated polyester resin. It has low viscosity and good wettability to glass fibers. It is suitable for hand lay-up and RTM molding processes, and is used to produce glass fiber reinforced plastic ships, vehicles, cooling towers, building parts, and parts used in coal mines.
Its products have the characteristics of good flame-retardant, self-extinguishing and high mechanical properties. The resin is combined with the flame-retardant filler aluminum hydroxide to produce FRP products with high flame retardancy, slow flame propagation speed, and low smoke density.

Remark:
1) The resin formula is TM-3200: aluminum hydroxide=100:100
2) FRP sample preparation method should follow GB/T8237-2005, FRP structure EMC450/ EWR400/ EMC450/EWR400/ EMC450,
Curing system: accelerator 0.8%Co/oct 1.0 %, curing agent: Butanox M-50 1.5%.
3) Post-curing of FRP: room temperature*24 hours+60ºC*3 hours+110ºC*2 hours.
 
4,Instruction for use
1) High efficiency colorless accelerator shall be avoided in use. Otherwise, it will be easy to cause poor curing of products, which leads to surface stickiness. Special FRP accelerant such as E4 shall be selected to use.
2) When the ambient temperature is high and the gel time of resin is short, do not reduce the dosage of curing agent, gel retardants should be added as needed.
3) When the humidity of construction environment or the temperature is high, it is also easy to cause the surface to become sticky. Wax liquid can be added appropriately.

5,Storage And Transportation
The loading and transportation must follow the rules in chapter 5 of dangerous chemicals regulations .The products should be stored under 25ºC and avoid the sunlight, heat source ,fire source and radiant point. The shelf life in right environment is 3 months.
