Cloxacillin sodium capsule is mainly used for the treatment of mild and moderate infections caused by penicillinase producing and methicillin sensitive Staphylococcus, such as bone, respiratory tract, skin and soft tissue infections.

Usage and dosage
Oral administration
1. Adult 0.5 g once, 4 times a day.
2. Children should take it four times daily according to their body weight of 25-50 mg / kg.

Adverse reactions
1. Allergic reaction, urticaria and other kinds of skin rashes are common. In a few patients, leukopenia, interstitial nephritis, asthma attack and serological type reaction (type III allergic reaction) may occur. Individual patients may have anaphylactic shock. Once anaphylactic shock occurs, they must be rescued on the spot, keep the airway unblocked, inhale oxygen, and give adrenaline, glucocorticoid and other treatment measures.
2. A few patients may have abdominal distension, loss of appetite, even nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea and other symptoms.
3. Leucopenia and neutropenia or cholestatic jaundice may occur in some patients.
4. The secondary infection caused by Candida or gram negative bacilli was occasionally found.

Penicillin allergy history or penicillin skin test positive patients are forbidden.

1. Patients with asthma, eczema, hay fever, urticaria and other allergic diseases should use this product with caution.
2. It is necessary to inquire about drug allergy history and conduct penicillin skin test before using this product.
3. Patients allergic to one kind of penicillin may be allergic to other penicillins or penicillamine, and patients allergic to penicillin may have cross allergy to cephalosporins.
4. There is no need to adjust the dosage of this product for patients with mild to moderate renal dysfunction, but the dosage should be appropriately reduced for patients with severe renal dysfunction.
