Butterfly Valve Series
Butterfly valve, also known as flap valve, is a simple structure control valve, which can be used for low-pressure pipeline medium on-off control. Butterfly valve refers to a kind of valve whose closing piece (disc or butterfly plate) is a disc and rotates around the valve shaft to open and close.
The valve can be used to control the flow of air, water, steam, various corrosive media, mud, oil, liquid metal and radioactive media. It is mainly used to cut off and throttle the pipeline. The opening and closing part of butterfly valve is a disc-shaped butterfly plate, which rotates around its own axis in the valve body, so as to achieve the purpose of opening and closing or adjustment.

Advantage
1. It is easy to open and close, labor-saving, low fluid resistance, and can be operated frequently.
2. Simple structure, small size, short structure length, small volume, light weight, suitable for large diameter valve.
3. It can transport mud and store the least liquid at the pipe mouth.
4. Under low pressure, good sealing can be achieved.
5. Good regulation performance.
6. When the valve seat channel is fully open, the effective flow area is larger and the fluid resistance is smaller.
7. The opening and closing torque is small, because the butterfly plates on both sides of the shaft are almost equal to the medium, and the direction of the torque is opposite, so the opening and closing is less labor.
8. The sealing surface is generally made of rubber and plastic, so the low pressure sealing performance is good.
9. Easy to install.
10. The operation is flexible and labor-saving, and manual, electric, pneumatic and hydraulic modes can be selected.
