Appearance: White powder.
Melting Point: 115-117° C.
Vapour Pressure: 0.03m PA at 20° C.
Stability: Solubility in water 33000mg/L, in acetone 70.9 g/100 g, in hexane 0.3 g/100 g, in methanol 0.265g/100 g.

Toxicity
(Rat): Oral LD50 1690 mg/kg. Dermal LD50: 5278 mg/kg. Corrosive causes irreversible eye damage.
Application
Hexazinone is a triazine herbicide used against many annual, biennial, and perennial weeds, as well as some woody plants. It is mostly used on non-crop areas; However, it is used selectively for the control of weeds among sugar cane, pineapples, and lucerne. Hexazinone is a systemic herbicide that works by inhibiting photosynthesis in the target plants.
