HMD2004 Series Pancake load cell is made of high stiffness alloy steel based on foil strain gauge technology with mV signal output which is proportional to the applied force.Pancake load cells can be used for both tension and compression force measurements,low profile structure makes it also suitable for in-line force monitoring.
Pancake load cell is offered in wide capacities from 0.5t up to 500t.This low profile load cell is designed with a threaded hole running through the center of the transducer which can be used to mount attachments such as load buttons,eye bolts or other adapters for force loading,this makes spoke type load cells very adaptable to various cases,typical applications for this type of transducers are for example:

-Force measurement in injection-molding machines,press machines,material testing equipment, etc..
 
-Weight measurement for tanks,vessels and hoppers,it normally takes 3pcs or 4pcs pancake load cells working together for this kind of application,junction box and weight display unit is also available in YUTONG.
