Since it is a silicone rubber material, a food grade gasket made from this rubber sheet silicone will be able to work in a temperature range from -103° F to 500° F.

The medium durometer rating of food grade silicone means that it can be more easily cut than other rubbers of a higher durometer rating. A flexible material is better suited to being made into specific components such as a food grade gasket or seal.
