| Taboo | This product is forbidden to those allergic to cephalosporins, and those allergic to penicillin antibiotics should be used with caution. |
| excessive | In cases of overdose, especially in patients with renal insufficiency, encephalopathy may occur. Once the plasma level of the drug decreases, encephalopathy is usually reversible. The serum levels of cefpirome can be reduced by peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis. A 4-hour hemodialysis can remove about 50% of cefpirome in the body. |
