It's a Bette drug. 80-81°C. melting point.Easily soluble in chloroform, easily soluble in acetone or ether, slightly soluble in ethanol, almost insoluble in water, molecular formula: C20H21ClO4, molecular weight :360.83100.Fenofibrate is primarily used to reduce cholesterol levels in patients at risk for cardiovascular disease; like other bettes, fenofibrate reduces low-density lipoprotein (LDL) and very low-density lipoprotein (VLDL) levels and can increase high-density lipoprotein (HDL) levels and decrease triglyceride (TG) levels.Fenofibrate can be used alone or in combination with statins to treat hypercholesterolemia and hypertriglyceridemia.
