Colorless transparent liquid with a special smell. Insoluble in water, soluble in most organic solvents and hydrocarbons. It has good compatibility with most industrial resins. Partially compatible with cellulose acetate and polyvinyl acetate.

Performance
This product is a main plasticizer used mostly in plastic processing and has excellent comprehensive properties.
It is widely used in the processing of polyvinyl chloride, vinyl chloride copolymer and cellulose resin, and in the manufacture of thin films, artificial leather, wire and cable sheets, plates, mouldings, plasticizers, etc.
This product can also be used as a softener for synthetic rubber such as NBR. It can improve the resilience of products, reduce the compression permanent deformation, and has no effect on vulcanization of rubber.
80%~90% of DOP is used in the PVC industry. Others are used in rubber, recycled plastics, lubricants, adhesives, coatings, macromolecule additives, softeners for printing ink and capacitor oils. They can also be used in polyvinyl acetate, polyvinylidene chloride and so on.
This product is the most widely used plasticizer, except cellulose acetate and polyvinyl acetate, and has good compatibility with most synthetic resins and rubber used in industry. This product has good comprehensive properties, good mixing performance, high plastic efficiency, low volatility, good low temperature softness, water extraction resistance, high electrical performance, good heat resistance and weather resistance.
As a main plasticizer, this product is widely used in the processing of PVC soft products, such as film, sheet, artificial leather, cable material and molding products. This product is non-toxic and can be used in food contact packaging materials, but because it is easy to be extracted by fat, it is not suitable for fatty food packaging materials. It can also be used in nitrocellulose paint to make the paint film have elastic and high tensile strength. In a variety of synthetic rubber, the product also has a good softening effect. In addition, dop is also used as shrinkage agent, antiwear agent, organic solvent and gas chromatography stationary solution.
