Description
Monobenzone Cream USP 20% w/w
Formula:
NORALSPIN CREAM is 20% purified monobenzyl ether of hyquinone
(MONOBENZONE CREAM USP) in a special base.
Action and Uses:
NORALSPIN Cream exerts a powerful inhibiting effect on pigment
formation in the melanin producing cells of the skin.
NORALSPIN Cream can be used for patients with "Generalised
Vitiligo who wish to achieve uniform white colour.
NORALSPIN Cream cannot be expected to treat hyperpigmentation
resulting from pigments other than melanin, these include bile,
silver, or artificial pigments incorporated into the skin. It has not
proven of value in the treatment of café au lait sports pigmented
nevi, or in malignant melanoma.
Administration:
1. NORALSPIN Cream is rubbed into the desired areas of the skin
two or three times daily until desired degree of depigmentation is
obtained.
2. Exposing the treated areas to sunlight
Monobenzone USP, Purified Water USP, Ginkgo Biloba Extract, Propylene Glycol, 10% Ethanol, Dimethyl Isosorbide, Azelaic Acid, White Wax, Cetyl Alcohol, Sudium Lauryl Sulfate, Sorbic Acid IP 0.2% w/w (Preservative), Butylated Hydroxytoluene IP 0.1%w/w (Preservative).
