 Chemical formula: Sb2S3, stibnite is carefully selected and purified by chemical processes to become antimony trisulphide. The product appears to be gray black solid powder,  The content in the product and size can be adjusted according to customer demand.
Antimony trisulphide has melting point of 548ºC, and it absorb heat at high temperature and melt into inorganic binder, to reduce the consumption of organic binder; at high temperature, it decomposes into antimony oxide, and generate metallic antimony with the function of reducing agent. It can prevent and slow down the decomposition of organic binder and improve the high temperature resistance performance of the friction material, maintain the stability of friction and prolong the service life of the product; antimony sulfide has low hardness, and can effectively reduce the braking noise and vibration.
Due to the outstanding characteristics of antimony trisulphide, is widely used in the friction material industry, and is especially suitable for application in disc brake pad with heavy load.  


Also used in antimony salt and colored glass.Rubber industry used as curing agent  etc.
