PA66 (Nylon 66) is a type of polyamide. PA66 and PA6 are the two most common materials for textile and plastic industries. PA66 is made of two monomers each containing 6 carbon atoms (hexamethylenediamine and adipic acid) which give its name PA66. Nylon 66 is frequently used when high mechanical strength, rigidity, good stability under heat and/or chemical resistance are required. It is used in fibers for textiles and carpets and molded parts. For textiles, PA66 fibers are used in luggage, airbags, apparel, carpet and etc.. PA66 is also commonly used in injection molding. It has broad use in automotive applications; these include "under the hood" parts such as radiator end tanks, rocker covers, air intake manifolds, and oil pans, as well as numerous other structural parts such as hinges, and ball bearing cages. Other applications include electro-insulating elements, pipes, profiles, various machine parts, zip ties, conveyor belts, hoses, polymer-framed appliances, and the outer layer of turnout blankets. PA66 is also a popular guitar nut material. PA66 can be modified easily to provide extra properties, e.g. glass fiber reinforced grades can further improve material mechanical properties and effectively fire retarded with halogen-free products. Phosphorus-based flame retardant systems are also used in these fire-safe polymers. It is commonly used in the electrical and electronics (E&E) industry.
MORESU 2030G Moresu 2030G is a 30% glass fiber reinforced injection molding grade Nylon 66 (PA 66). It can be used for injection molding for parts with high rigidity and dimensional stability. This product has excellent mechanical properties including high mechanical strength, high modulus and good toughness. It also provides good chemical resistance and heat resistance so can be used for parts in harsh environments. It is very suitable for applications in electrical & electronic field, construction industry, automotive industry, office furniture and etc.
This product is normally natural or black in color, supplied in dry state, generally cylindrical granules and packed in moisture-proof bags. The standard packing is 25kg bags and other forms of packaging can also be provided.
Our material can be further modified to fulfill different requirements such as Anti-UV, Flame retardant modified and etc.. We also supply Glass fibre reinforced PA66 composites with different GF content (10% - 50%).
