Product introduction:
Hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) is a white, odorless, non-toxic fibrous or powdered solid prepared by etherification of alkaline cellulose and ethylene oxide (or chloroethanol), belonging to the non ionic soluble cellulose ether class.

Performance:
1. HEC is soluble in hot or cold water, and does not precipitate at high temperature or boiling, so it has a wide range of solubility and viscosity characteristics, and non thermal gel;
2. HEC can coexist with other water-soluble polymers, surfactants, and salts on a large scale, and is an excellent colloid thickener for high concentration dielectric solutions;
3. The water retention capacity is twice that of methyl cellulose, and it has good flow regulation;
4. HEC has the worst dispersion ability compared to recognized methyl cellulose and hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, but has the strongest protective colloid ability.

Application:
Hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) Used as adhesive, surfactant, colloid protector, dispersant, emulsifier, and dispersion stabilizer. It has extensive applications in fields such as coatings, inks, fibers, dyeing, papermaking, cosmetics, pesticides, mineral processing, oil extraction, and pharmaceuticals.
