FRP Elbow Is A Light, High Strength, Corrosion-Resistant Pipe Fitting. Pipe Fittings Are A General Term For Components That Play The Roles Of Connection, Control, Direction Change, Diversion, Sealing, Support, Etc. In The Piping System. Steel Fittings Are All Pressure Fittings. According To Different Processing Techniques, It Is Divided Into Four Categories, Namely, Butt-Welding Fittings (With And Without Welds), Socket Welding And Threaded Fittings, And Flanged Fittings.

The Main Purpose Is Mainly Used For The Connection Of Pipes And Pipes, Pipes And Equipment. In The Piping System, The Elbow Is A Pipe Fitting That Changes The Direction Of The Pipe.

FRP Elbow Forming Process
The FRP Elbow Is Formed By Hand Lay-Up, And The FRP Elbow Formed By FRP Hand Lay-Up Has Three Structural Forms, Which Are Integral Molding On The Mold, Split Molding Of The Half Mold, And Shrimp Joint Bending After Prefabricating The Pipe.

   1. The Overall Molding On The Mold Adopts The Existing Metal Or Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic Mold Below DN800 Of Manjike FRP, On Which The Raw Material Of Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic Is Integrally Formed By Manual Laying Process.

   2. The Half Mold Is Formed Separately. On The Premise That The FRP Has No Relevant Elbow Mold, The Half Elbow Mold Is Made. After Making Two And A Half FRP Elbows, The Two Are Spliced Into A Finished Elbow.

   3. After Prefabricating The Pipe, The Shrimp Joints Are Bent And Formed. First, The FRP Pipe Of The Corresponding Specification Is Produced, And Then The Pipe Is Cut Into Several Sections And Spliced Into Elbows. This Forming Method Is Mostly Used Under The Condition That There Is A Certain Rigidity Requirement For The FRP Elbow, Or Under The Premise That There Is No Ready-Made Mold And The Cost Of Making The Mold Is Relatively High.
