Used to manufacture light source lamps in infrared spectrometers, thick film circuit capacitive materials, piezoelectric crystal transducers. Nanoscale zirconia is used as a substrate for polishes, abrasive particles, piezoelectric ceramics, precision ceramics, ceramic glazes and high-temperaturepigments. High purity grade 4N is used as an additive for special glass and optical fibers, glass sheets for high refraction electron microscopy and energy saving light sources.
