Product Overview 

The DC resistance tester is a high precision replacement for the DC single and double arm bridges. The instrument adopts advanced switching power supply technology, and the four and a half digit LCD liquid crystal displays the measurement results, and the three and a half digit LCD liquid crystal displays the ambient temperature or test current value, which overcomes the shortcomings of other similar products which are inconvenient to read in the sunlight by LED displaying the value. The instrument has the advantages of fast measurement speed, high accuracy, intuitive display, strong anti-interference ability, small size, power consumption, stable and reliable test data, and is not affected by human factors. It is an ideal instrument for measuring the resistance of various inductive loads such as power transformers, low-voltage switch contact resistance, wire and cable or weld interface resistance, and its measurement speed is more than 100 times faster than that of a bridge. The instrument is equipped with a rechargeable battery pack (12V) for both AC and DC use, making it easy to test on site and in the field.

Working process
  1. Confirm the normal state of the transformer winding and connect the test fixture to the winding terminals.
  2. Set the test parameters of the tester, such as the test current value and test time.
  3. Start the test, the tester applies a certain DC current to the winding and measures the winding current and winding voltage.
  4. Calculate the winding resistance value based on the measurement results.
  5. Compare the measurement results with the specifications of the transformer to determine whether the winding resistance meets the standards.
