Product Description

Krill oil is extracted from Antarctic krill (Euphausia Superba). The oil is rich in essential omega-3 fatty acid, most of which are attached to phospholipids. The oil is also a rich source of astaxanthin.

Application

It can be used in health products and most commonly used for heart disease, high levels of certain blood fats (triglycerides), and high cholesterol.

Handling
Due to high viscosity and possible stratification during storage, product should be agitated before use or sampling.Viscosity may be reduced by heating (up to 35 º C) and /or gently stirring if necessary. Containers opened for sampling should be headspace flushed with inert gas prior to storage.Please use as soon as possible after the original package is opened.

Storage

Stored in cool dry place (2-8°C) and keep in sealed containers, avoiding exposure to light

and moisture. Warm the product to 30-40°C under nitrogen to achieve better fluidity when necessary.

Store in dry place, and kept away from light, heat, strong odors and dust.

Shelf Life

2 years in the original unopened container under suggested storage conditions.
