Product Description

Calcined coke is the product of petroleum coke calcined at high temperature. Calcination of petroleum coke is an important process in the carbon production process. It is calcined at high temperature under the condition of isolation of air to eliminate volatiles and moisture in raw materials. During the calcination process, the structure and elemental composition of various carbonaceous raw materials undergo a series of deep changes to improve their physical and chemical properties, and then obtain calcined coke.

From the appearance of calcined coke, it is irregularly shaped coke with multi-pore structure. After calcination, the pores of carbon particles are more transparent, with black metal luster, and more than 98.5% of the elements are carbon.

 

 





Calcined petroleum coke is also known as calcined petroleum coke and calcined petroleum coke, but the names are not consistent. Both calcined petroleum coke and calcined petroleum coke are one of the carburizing agents. In order to ensure the production of high quality calcined petroleum coke, Jia-carbon strictly controls every link in the whole production process. Applicate

Calcined coke has a wide range of uses. The calcined coke is produced as the product of petroleum coke, which is mainly used as the pre-baking anode and cathode for electrolytic aluminum, and the carburizing agent for metallurgical industry, etc. Due to the different production technology and temperature, the calcined coke can be divided into medium and high sulfur, with different index components, and the use of calcined coke is different.

The low sulfur calcined coke has many applications, such as being used as insulation material and filling material to make graphite electrodes and special carbon products. As a carburizing agent or reducing agent used in the metallurgical casting industry, and used in the titanium industry as reducing agent;

The use of middle sulfur calcined coke: it is generally used in aluminum smelting, mainly used in prebaking anode and cathode for electrolytic aluminum.

The use of high-sulfur calcined coke: it can be used in chemical production, silicon carbide or as fuel for metal manufacturing, glass factory, etc.

Calcined calcined coke can be produced with various high quality calcined coke by the controlled calcination process of nine countercurrent tank calcined furnace, each grain of calcined coke goes through 12 processes and the whole process is closed by the negative pressure automatic production line.
