Polyethylene (PE) is one of the most popular thermoplastic materials. It is available in different crystal structures called HDPE, LDPE and LLDPE.This commercial plastic is produced by addition or free radical polymerization. What is PE?
Polyethylene or polyethylene is a type of polyolefin. It is often abbreviated as PE. The chemical formula for PE is (C2H4)n. It is lightweight, durable, and one of the most commonly used plastics. It is used in frozen food bags, bottles, cereal liners, yogurt containers, and more. Looking around, all plastics with recycling codes 2 and 4 are made from PE. These plastics have different crystal formations
How is PE made?
Polyethylene is produced by the polymerization of ethylene (or vinyl) monomers.PE chains are produced by addition or free radical polymerization. Possible methods of synthesis are:
Ziegler-Natta polymerization and metallocene-catalyzed
What are the common types of PE?

2.Storage:
The resin should be stored in a drafty, dry warehouse and away from fire and direct sunlight. It should not be piled up in the open air.
3.Transportation:
During transportation, the product should not be exposed to strong sunlight or rain and should not be transported together with sand, soil, scrap metal, coal or glass. Transportation together with toxic, corrosive and flammable substance is strictly prohibited.
